You have to set some small goals in order to achieve a great one. Set some milestones towards the big goal. Celebrate when you reach one of them along the way. If your goal can be measurable try keeping score. You need to have a clear mind and determination.

There are several strategies that can help you stay focused and attentive while working on a task. Here are some of the best ways:

1: Eliminate distractions: Try to minimize or eliminate any distractions that may divert your attention from the task at hand. This can include turning off your phone, closing unnecessary tabs on your computer, or finding a quiet place to work.

2: Break down the task: Breaking down the task into smaller, manageable parts can make it easier to focus and prevent overwhelm. You can also set specific goals for each part and track your progress as you go along.

3: Set a time limit: Setting a specific time limit for each task can help you stay focused and avoid getting sidetracked. You can use a timer to keep yourself accountable and track your progress.

4: Take breaks: Taking regular breaks can actually help you stay more focused and attentive. Short breaks can help you recharge and refocus your attention, allowing you to be more productive when you return to the task.

5: Use a task management tool: Task management tools such as to-do lists or project management software can help you stay organized and focused. You can prioritize your tasks, set deadlines, and track your progress, which can help you stay on track and motivated.

6: Practice mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness can help you stay present and focused on the task at hand. You can use techniques such as deep breathing or meditation to calm your mind and improve your ability to concentrate.

Overall, staying focused and attentive while working on a task requires discipline, organization, and mindfulness. By implementing these strategies, you can improve your ability to stay focused and productive, and achieve your goals more efficiently.

Choose a quite environment that will help you concentrate. Try and understand the details of the task before you otherwise you will miss specific points. Ask questions for clarifications on points you have less understanding. You can recheck your answers to eliminate mistakes before final submission.

Everyone has a certain saturation level I guess and it varies, so one can not definitely focus for an indefinite period of time. However, if one is constantly trying to focus without taking any sort of mental breaks, they can not put 100% of their capabilities to focus and concentrate. So, a break is a must. I would say, a five to ten minutes break after thirty to forty minutes of studying or working is a must and in that break do anything but the work or studies. After the break our brain regains the energy to focus again.
