Actually, in my opinion, writing does not directly improve mental health. But, by writing, some of the burdern will be lost, reduced, or moved because it has been told. And if the results of his writing are good (especially if it is accepted by other parties and gets money), then his confidence level will increase. Even so, writing also shouldn't be too long/hard because it could be (negative) feedback that will worsen his mental state. Therefore, write as much as you like/can until your mental health improves.

Problem-solving and perspective-shifting: Writing can help you organize your thoughts and find solutions to problems. It allows you to analyze situations, explore different perspectives, and generate creative ideas. Writing about challenges or dilemmas can promote problem-solving skills and encourage you to consider alternative viewpoints, leading to a broader perspective and potential solutions.

Gratitude and positivity: Engaging in gratitude journaling, where you write down things you are thankful for, has been shown to enhance well-being and increase positive emotions. Writing about positive experiences, achievements, or things that bring you joy can cultivate a more positive mindset and contribute to overall mental health.

Writing can improve mental health in a number of ways, to be able to write more you also have to read more which increases your knowledge in topics such as history science and English. To be proficient in writing in these topics you must read about them which strengthens the areas of the brain. the frontal lobe which is used for word processing is the primary sight that will be seen on a brain scan light up as the person reads. Depending on the topic of the reading materiel the lit up brain will show a difference. If it is sad materiel there will be less blood flow to the frontal lobe but if the reading materiel is the Bible there will be more blood flow to the brain particularly if it is the book of proverbs where there is more analytical thinking involved. If the person reads outload there will also be seen a brighter color at the reading centers of the brain the occipital lobe is also a sight that is used when a person is reading. Blood flow to the brain will strengthen neurons and even generate the development of new ones which wards off Alzheimer's and other forms of dementias.

3. **Stress Reduction:** Writing about stressful experiences can lower cortisol levels and relieve anxiety, potentially improving your overall emotional well-being.

4. **Self-Reflection:** Regular journaling can increase self-awareness and help you understand your triggers, behaviors, and thought patterns, which can be valuable for personal growth and emotional stability.
