Germany's WWI allies were Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire. Together, they were known as the Central Powers. The Central Powers fought against the Allied Powers, which included France, Russia, Britain, Italy, Japan, and the United States. The war ended in 1918 with the defeat of the Central Powers.
