I have a hunch that living things (including humans and animals) cannot mutate automatically (by themselves without human intervention). For example, from tha past, tha nature and shape of the cat has remained like that; has along tail, likes to eat fish, and thick fur. The question is, can the covid-19 virus mutate automatically so that is changes shape anda has detrimental effects that change from time to time by itself without human intervention?

Yes, the COVID-19 virus can undergo natural mutations over time without human intervention, which can lead to changes in its shape and potentially impact its effects, including transmissibility and severity of the disease.

Yes, the Covid-19 virus can mutate automatically over time. The virus is constantly changing, and new variants can emerge that are more contagious, cause more severe illness, or be resistant to existing treatments and vaccines. However, these mutations occur naturally and are not caused by human intervention.

Yes, the COVID-19 virus can naturally mutate over time. Viruses mutate as part of their replication process. Some mutations may change the virus's properties potentially affecting its behavior and impact.
