The treatment for hypertension can vary depending on the severity of the condition. Medications such as diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and calcium channel blockers may be prescribed to lower blood pressure. Lifestyle changes such as reducing salt intake, increasing physical activity, and losing weight can also assist in managing hypertension.

The treatment for hypertension, or high blood pressure, depends on the severity of the condition. Generally, lifestyle changes, such as eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and reducing stress, can help to lower blood pressure. Additionally, medications, such as diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and beta blockers, may be prescribed to help reduce blood pressure. In some cases, surgery may be necessary to treat severe cases of hypertension.
