There are several means of purifying dirty water:

1. Boiling: This is the simplest and most effective way to purify water. Boiling water for at least one minute can kill most bacteria and viruses that cause diseases.

2. Filtration: Filtration involves passing water through a physical barrier such as sand, gravel, or a mesh screen to remove impurities.

3. Chemical purification: Using chemicals like chlorine, iodine, or potassium permanganate can kill or inactivate harmful microorganisms.

4. Distillation: Distillation involves boiling water, collecting the vapor, and condensing it back into liquid form to remove impurities.

5. UV sterilization: Ultraviolet light can be used to kill bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms in water.

6. Reverse osmosis: Reverse osmosis is a process that involves passing water through a semipermeable membrane that removes impurities.

There are several methods for purifying dirty water to make it safe for consumption.

1) Boiling: Boiling water is one of the simplest and most effective methods of purification.

2)Filtration: Water filtration involves passing water through a physical barrier or media to remove impurities.

3) Chlorination: It involves adding a small amount of chlorine to water.

4) Distillation: It is a process where water is boiled, and the Steam is collected and condensed back into liquid form.

5) UV Disinfection: It utilizes UV light to kill or inactivate bacteria, virus and other microorganisms

6) Chemical disinfection: they are iodine, chlorine dioxide or potassium permanganate can be used to purify water.

The water we take in from the sea and rivers is always not necessarily clean so we pass them through plants which take the salt out of them and take all the harmful bacteria out of them(At least 90% of them)

There are several methods for purifying dirty water, including filtration, boiling, distillation, and chemical treatment. Filtration involves passing the water through a filter to remove particles, while boiling kills harmful bacteria and other microorganisms. Distillation involves boiling the water and collecting the steam, which is then condensed back into liquid form. Chemical treatment involves adding chemicals such as chlorine or iodine to the water, which kills bacteria and other microorganisms.

There are several means of purifying dirty water. Some common methods include:

Boiling: Heating water to a rolling boil kills many microorganisms and pathogens.

Filtration: Using physical filters, such as activated carbon or ceramic filters, to remove impurities and particles.

Chlorination: Adding chlorine or chlorine-based compounds to disinfect water and kill bacteria and viruses.

Distillation: Boiling water and collecting the condensed vapor to remove impurities.

UV Disinfection: Exposing water to ultraviolet light to destroy microorganisms.

Chemical disinfection: Using chemical agents like iodine or chlorine dioxide tablets to kill pathogens.

Reverse Osmosis: Passing water through a semipermeable membrane to remove contaminants.

The choice of method depends on the specific contaminants present and the available resources in a given situation.
