In "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," Sally writes a letter to the Great Pumpkin, eagerly requesting his arrival. Sally believes that the Great Pumpkin will bring her toys and treats just like Santa Claus does on Christmas. However, Charlie Brown and Linus try to explain to her that the Great Pumpkin is not real.
