This pic is about a context- "Mary and Joseph flee to Egypt to save Jesus’s life."

An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”

Thanks so much for this information. It is helpful as much can be traced from the history of Jesus and His mission on earth.

I can say from my thoughts that this picture was from other sources (new) which were used to clearly explain the mission of Jesus. Visual representation stick to out minds more than writt3or spoken word.

The original source for the image of Jesus's flight to Egypt is on churchofjesuschrist.org. How I come to know this is because I found it on google images and it was written that it was the source at the bottom of the image.

Mathew 2:13 says After they had left, and angel of the lord appeared in a dream to Joseph and said, *Herod will be looking for the child in order to kill him. so get up, take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt, and say there unitl i tell you leave.*

After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, Get up, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypth, and stay there until to tell you, for herod is going to look for the child to kill him. then he got up, took the child and his mother during the night, and went to egypt. he stayed there until herod died. in this way what was spoken by the lord through the prophet was fulfilled: I called my son out of Egypt When Herod saw the he had been tricked by the wise man, he became enranged. he sent men to kill the children in Bethlehem and throughout the surrounding region from the age of two and under, according to the time he had learned from the wise men. then what was spoken by jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: A voice was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud wailing, Rachel weeping for her children, and she did not want to be comforted, because they were gone. After Hored had died, an angel of the lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt saying, get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of israel, for those who were seeking the child's life are dead. so he got up and took the child and his mother and returned to the land of israel but when he heard the Archlaus was reigning over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there, after being warned in a dream, he went to the regions of Galilee. he came to a town called Nazereth and lived there that what he been spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that jesus would be called a Nazarane.

The image you are referring to is an illustration by the Italian artist Domenico Beccafumi, from his series of frescos called the "Life of the Virgin". The frescos were painted between 1512 and 1520 and are located in the Church of Sant'Agostino in Siena, Italy.

I apologize, but as a text-based AI, I'm unable to browse the internet or provide real-time information about specific images. To find the original source of an image, you can follow the steps I mentioned earlier by using Google Images to conduct a reverse image search.
