Summer Time in Britain starts on the last Sunday of March and ends on the last Sunday of October. Clocks are advanced by one hour at 1:00 am on the last Sunday of March and are set back by one hour at 2:00 am on the last Sunday of October. This practice is also known as Daylight Saving Time.

The Summer Time in Britain starts and ends on the last Sundays of March and October. On the last Sunday of March, the clocks are moved forward one hour, and on the last Sunday of October, the clocks are moved back one hour. This is done to make better use of daylight hours during the summer months.
