Hello there,

to answer this question briefly I'd say that it's not too complicated to set up a remote desktop connection using windows 10.

You have 2 options:

1. Go to your windows start menu and in the search area (or just start typing and your search area would appear anyways), you want to type in "remote desktop connection", then click on it.

It will open up a little windows where you need to type in a computer name / ip address and a password of that computer to access it through remote desktop connection.

2. And you can do this trough terminal (command prompt) in any operating system but that's completely different and a very complicated story that we've got no time to discuss here.

But why don't you just download TeamViewer and share details or take details/info from a computer you want to access because this is certainly the easiest way to do remote desktop connection.

I really hope this answers your question,

Best Regards,

Nesim

To set up a Remote Desktop Connection in Windows 10, follow these steps:

Ensure that your Windows 10 computer is running the latest updates and is connected to the internet.

On the computer you want to connect to remotely, go to the Start menu and search for "Remote Desktop Connection." Click on the Remote Desktop Connection app that appears in the search results.

In the Remote Desktop Connection window, type the name or IP address of the remote computer you want to connect to in the "Computer" field.

Click on the "Show Options" button to reveal additional settings.

In the "General" tab, you can choose to save your connection settings for future use by giving a name to your connection and saving it.

In the "Display" tab, you can choose the size and color depth of the remote desktop window.

In the "Local Resources" tab, you can choose which local devices (such as printers and drives) you want to make available on the remote computer.

In the "Experience" tab, you can adjust the visual and audio settings for the remote desktop connection.

In the "Advanced" tab, you can set advanced options such as whether to connect to the console session or whether to use TLS encryption.

Once you have configured your settings, click on the "Connect" button to initiate the remote desktop connection.

You will be prompted to enter your username and password for the remote computer. Enter your credentials and click on "OK."

Once you are connected, you can use your remote computer as if you were sitting in front of it. To disconnect, simply close the remote desktop window or click on the "X" button in the upper-right corner of the window
