You need to clean it after eating your meals, don't eat food that can leave stains to it. Try the baking soda to clean it.

Yellow stains around braces can be caused by a variety of factors, including the accumulation of plaque, the use of certain medications, and tobacco use. To remove these stains, it is important to brush the teeth thoroughly and to use interdental brushes or floss threaders to clean around the braces. You may also want to consider using a whitening toothpaste or mouthwash. It is also a good idea to avoid foods and drinks that can stain the teeth, such as coffee, tea, and red wine. Instead, try to include foods that are naturally white or light in color, such as chicken, turkey, fish, and vegetables like cauliflower and potatoes. These foods can help to keep the teeth looking brighter and may help to reduce the appearance of yellow stains around the braces.

When you first get your braces, the orthodontist will warn you about yellow stains appearing around your brackets if you don't brush your teeth correctly and several times a day. Here are a few steps you can try to do that will help to remove the stains around your brackets:

  • Set up an appointment with your dentist to have your teeth cleaned. Before going to your appointment have your orthodontist remove the wire, This will help the dentist to clean your teeth better.
  • If you find that you have a lot of yellowing around your brackets, you should schedule regular cleaning of your teeth from the dentist.
  • Start brushing your teeth more often during the day.
  • Instead of using a stand toothbrush, invest in an electric toothbrush. The small rotating heads on the toothbrush will be able to get closer to your teeth and clean around your brackets.
  • It is said that apples will help to clean your teeth. However, with braces, you'll need to cut the apples up in order to eat them and not break the brackets.
Basically, you will need to improve your brushing skills and cleaning your teeth more often during the day. This will prevent the stains from appearing around your brackets.

The secret is in correct brushing. Teeth should be brushed at least twice a day paying particular attention to the area around the braces but there are certain foods that stain the teeth more than others.

Curry will leave yellow stains. I know this because I notice that when I have eaten it the stains will last a lot longer than other foods regardless of how much I try to clean them off,  Tea and coffee also cause staining of the teeth so it might be a good idea to limit these drinks. Other foods to avoid are mustard, tomatoes, coloured soda and and red wine as these all cause staining.

Apart from that you should be able to enjoy most other foods. You will probably learn through trial and error which foods cause staining and which don't and when they are removed you can be proud of your straight white teeth.

Yellow stains around braces are caused by plaque buildup. To remove them, you should brush your teeth gently around the brackets and floss regularly. You can also use an interdental brush to get in between the wires and brackets. Eating crunchy fruits and vegetables like carrots and apples can help remove plaque as well. Avoid eating sugary or starchy foods that can lead to plaque buildup.

Yellow stains around braces can be caused by a buildup of plaque and food debris that isn't properly cleaned away. Here are some tips to help remove those stains:

Brush and floss regularly: Make sure to brush and floss your teeth after every meal, and before bed. Use a soft-bristled brush and fluoride toothpaste. Use a floss threader to get between your braces and remove any food debris.

Use mouthwash: Rinse your mouth with an antimicrobial mouthwash to help kill any bacteria that may be causing the yellow stains.

Avoid certain foods: Foods that are high in sugar and acid can lead to staining around your braces. Try to avoid sugary drinks like soda and fruit juice, as well as acidic foods like citrus fruits, tomatoes, and vinegar.

Eat crunchy fruits and vegetables: Eating crunchy fruits and vegetables like apples and carrots can help remove plaque and food debris from your braces.

Drink plenty of water: Drinking water can help wash away food particles and keep your mouth hydrated.

If these tips don't work, you can talk to your orthodontist about other options, such as a professional cleaning or teeth whitening treatment

Get alcohol free mouthwash and gargle with it 3 times a day, making sure to keep it in your mouth for at least 2 minutes at a time. This should be able to break up most stains, but not all of them.

How can I remove the yellow stains around my braces? What kind of food will be helpful?

Yellow stains around braces are common and can be caused by the accumulation of plaque and food debris. The best way to remove these stains is to maintain good oral hygiene and follow a healthy diet. Here are some tips that may help:

Brush regularly: Brushing your teeth regularly is the most effective way to remove plaque and food particles that cause yellow stains. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste. Brush gently but thoroughly for at least two minutes, twice a day.

Floss daily: Flossing helps to remove food particles and plaque from between your teeth and braces. Use a floss threader or orthodontic floss to clean between the wires and brackets of your braces.

Use mouthwash: Using an antibacterial mouthwash can help to kill bacteria in your mouth and prevent plaque buildup. Look for a mouthwash that is alcohol-free and contains fluoride.

Avoid certain foods: Some foods can cause staining or damage to your braces. Avoid foods that are sticky, sugary, or acidic, as they can cause yellowing or discoloration around your braces. Examples include hard candy, soda, and sugary snacks.

Eat crunchy fruits and vegetables: Crunchy fruits and vegetables, such as apples, carrots, and celery, can help to clean your teeth and braces as you eat them. They also stimulate saliva production, which helps to neutralize acid in your mouth and prevent staining.

Drink plenty of water: Drinking water helps to rinse away food particles and bacteria from your mouth, reducing the risk of staining and decay.

If you follow these tips consistently, you should see an improvement in the appearance of your teeth and braces over time. However, if you are still concerned about the appearance of yellow stains, talk to your orthodontist or dentist for additional advice.

Well go to your dentist to have an oral prophylaxis or teeth cleaning. Then brush your teeth regularly, every after meal (even after snacks). Then refrain from cigarette or tobacco smoking. Lastly, avoid any staining food or drinks.

Yellow stains around braces can be caused by various factors, including the accumulation of plaque and food particles. Here are some tips to help remove or prevent these stains:

Maintain Excellent Oral Hygiene:

Brush your teeth thoroughly after every meal. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and make sure to clean around the braces, wires, and brackets.

Consider investing in an interdental brush or a water flosser to reach areas that are challenging to clean with a regular toothbrush.

Use Fluoride Mouthwash:

Rinse with a fluoride mouthwash to help reduce plaque and strengthen tooth enamel.

Foods That Help:

Crunchy fruits and vegetables like apples and carrots can have a mild abrasive effect, helping to remove plaque.

Fibrous foods like celery can stimulate saliva production, which helps cleanse the mouth.

Avoid Staining Foods:

Limit the consumption of foods and drinks known to cause stains, such as coffee, tea, red wine, and highly pigmented fruits and sauces.

Stay Hydrated:

Drinking plenty of water can help flush out food particles and reduce the risk of staining.

Regular Dental Check-ups:

Schedule regular dental cleanings to have your teeth and braces professionally cleaned. Dental professionals can reach areas that may be challenging to clean at home.

Orthodontic Wax:

Use orthodontic wax to cover any rough or sharp edges on your braces that might trap plaque.
