100 percent Organic means that all ingredients in a product have been grown or raised according to the USDA's organic standards. This would include plants cannot be grown with synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, genetic modifications, irradiation or sewage sludge.
I hope this helps.

Organically-grown produce are organic produce and other ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, genetically modified organisms or ionizing radiation.

Organic certification is a certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products.

Agricultural produce are organically certified only if they are organically-grown. However, there are cases that the farmers cannot afford certification, so it is just through sales talk that they can say it is an organic grown produce.

The term "organic" is defined by federal law, so you can not trust anybody to tell you what it mean. You have to look up the law. The law was written to protect growers and packers from lawsuits, not to guarantee anything to buyers.

Certified organic produce refers to fruits and vegetables that have been grown and produced according to specific organic standards and regulations set forth by a government agency or third-party certifier. These standards typically prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in the production process. To be certified organic, farmers must follow specific guidelines and undergo a certification process to ensure compliance.

On the other hand, "organically-grown" produce refers to fruits and vegetables that may have been grown using organic practices but have not been certified by a government agency or third-party certifier. This means that the produce may not meet the same stringent standards as certified organic produce, and there is no guarantee that synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or GMOs were not used in the production process.

In summary, certified organic produce is strictly regulated and meets specific organic standards, while organically-grown produce may or may not have been grown using organic practices and is not subject to the same regulations and standards as certified organic produce.

The difference is that in organically grown, the methods used are only for the crop from the top whereas in 100% organic, the soil is organically tested and the produce as well so both the soil and the produce is organic certified.
