Firstly, he would observe if he is in the habit of eating grass, since it is easy to identify whether or not he is with tummy ache in this way. And secondly it would take a veterinarian to evaluate, because most of the time, a pain can intensify and cause some infection or something.

There are natural remedies for animals such as humans.  You can try adding a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the dog food when you feed your dog at night. I would not do this on a daily basis. This can help the dog to digest his food better. I would also speak with my vet because if you dog has an upset stomach after eating his food maybe you are feeding him the wrong food.
