In practical, electrical voltage is the voltage between two points of a circuit.

To understand why electrical voltage is important, we have to first understand how electricity works. Electricity is a type of energy that is found in the world around us. It is made up of tiny particles called electrons. Electrons move around in wires and circuits, and they can create a lot of energy when they move quickly.

According to ohms law Voltage is proportional to current. Mean simply V=RI, where is resistance offered.

We can understand it like water flow through the pipe having losses Suppose from tank Q water is flow but at receiver end only q water is received
Q is always greater than q

Means after generation of current at source, it flow through the wire having resistance, that drop the current. And then the terms used is voltage

In simple words electrical voltage is what makes the charges to move like energy for the movement of the charges.

It is the force in the circuit which makes the electrons to move in the conducting loop when it is closed from high voltage level to the low voltage level.

It is like the pressure to the flow in a pipe, if pipe is small more pressure (more voltage) is required.

Hope this clears you.

Voltage, also called electromotive force, is a quantitative expression of the potential difference in charge between two points in an electrical field.
