Small Business that has been a best practise example for surviving the previous US Government Shutdown ?

Hey,

I'm doing some Research for my Seminar paper on the Topic US Government shutdown - Impact on small US businesses, and I'd like to Show the effects of a shutdown to small businesses and how they can react. For this reason I'd like to have a small Business as an example, that showed how you can react on a shutdown, so that it doesn't harm your business in Long-term. 

Does anyone have some ideas for a specific company? Or do you have a company and could give me some Information what you did?

There are plenty of business that has survived the govt shutdown and also the virus lockdown. 

• Vegetable business
• Grocery Business
• Travel business
• Medicine business

You can find a lot of business who survived waves of the attacks on many countries and they managed to survive just fine as well.
