An inert gas is a gas that is generally non reactive with other substances. The term "inert" means non reactive. Gases are being chemically inert if their atoms don't combine with other atoms in chemical reactions. The most common inert gases are, helium (He), argon (Ar), neon (Ne), Krypton (Kr), xenon(Xe) and radon (Rn).

Uses: Helium is used in inflating aeroplane tyres. Neon is used in discharge tubes and fluorescent bulbs used for advertising process. Argon is used for filling electric bulbs. Xenon and Krypton are also used in light bulbs.

An inert gas is a gas that does not undergo chemical reactions under a set of given conditions. The noble gases often do not react with many substances and were historically referred to as the inert gases. Inert gases are used generally to avoid unwanted chemical reactions degrading a sample.

Inert gases are helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon and random.

They are non reactive gases and are used for oxidation and hydrolysis

Inert gases are gases that have no movement or motion. They are usually found in materials that do not corrode or tarnish. They can also be found in materials that do corrode or tarnish because they are ground or boiled in water.

Inert gases are gases which are chemically inactive, so will not undergo chemical reactions with many materials. Inert gases are used for many purposes in a wide range of industries - for example in welding, chemical processing, and as filler gases in light sources.
