There is no specific tool or software available to add text to video, but you could use a text editor to create a text adventure game for use on your video. Alternatively, you could use a text editor to create a video tutorial on the same topic.

I have grown quite fond of Cyberlink Power Director for making a video montage. I like how you can edit the film, cut and splice it and all add text to the frames in the film. I have to do some videos for my work from time to time and these are normally done with photos and not filming. In the power director, I can add the images and make them look like a film using the different special effects the program has. The only thing that I don't really like about it is when you want to add music to the background. I can only add one song and not several in the background so if the images take longer to display the song will repeat over and over again. I'm still trying to figure out how to splice a few songs together so I can add them to the film.

I don't do this for a living and it is mostly for fun. So I don't spend a lot of time on the program. That is why I like this program because it is so easy to use.

Hi Disha, I would like to recommend you 'Video Stamper: Add Text and Timestamp to videos' Android application.

It helps a user to add 'Signature Stamp (Text), Date and Time (When the video was captured), and GPS stamp (Location details such as city name)' to the pre-captured video stored in device gallery!

Hope it will help you!

Hi, personally, I use Windows 10 Photos app and Joyoshare Media Cutter. Both of them are a workable video editor for you to add text to your video. The former is just applicable to Windows 10 operating system. The latter is for both Windows and Mac as well as provides various editing options for editing videos like adding text, background music, watermarks, effects, etc. By the way, if you need to do it on iPhone, try iMovie. On Android, try VLC.
