It is true that if we eat chillies everyday, our vision will be go blurry or blind. This is because chillies are a type of fruit that are fast cooking, so they become hot and spongy which makes them good for eating.

I don't think that is true, if it were true very many Indians and mexicans would be blind.

Since time in memorial indians have used chillies in practically every food they prepare, and so far i haven't seen or heard an indin has gone blind because of taking a lot of chillies. If anything and from what i have heard over the years, chilli is good for you especially for digestion. I cannot count how many people i have seen taking chilli for the longest time in their lives, and they are so healthy it's unlikely to hear them complain that they are sick. I think it is medicine on it's own. I am one of those people who have been taking chilli for the longest time, and sometimes when i eat food without chilli it tastes flat with no flavor, so that tells you one thing, that it adds flavor to food. The only time you will feel your eyes go blurry is when you eat very hot chilli and your not used to, because your head will be spinning for sure. Maybe Indians should come out amd expound on this.

I do not think so. All I can is, that we can have hemorrhoids if eating chilies too much. Remind you, it is not good to be operated because of it.

There's no proof eating chilies can affect your eyesight but if you rub it into the eyes it may cause pain, redness, and maybe tears. Chilies are rich in vitamin C and beta-carotene and is great for healthy eyes and the immune system.

Chili peppers vision effects

Is it true that if we eat chillies everyday, our vision will be go blurry or blind?

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that eating chili peppers on a daily basis will cause your vision to become blurry or cause you to go blind. In fact, chili peppers have been shown to have a number of health benefits, including reducing inflammation and providing a boost to your immune system. However, it is possible that consuming extremely large amounts of chili peppers, particularly in the form of extremely hot sauces, could irritate the lining of your mouth and throat, potentially leading to temporary discomfort or difficulty swallowing. It is generally best to consume any food, including chili peppers, in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

No, eating chillies does not cause blurred or impaired vision. There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that consuming chillies on a daily basis causes vision problems. In fact, chillies contain beneficial compounds such as vitamin C, capsaicin, and carotenoids, which can have positive effects on our health. However, it's always a good idea to consume a balanced diet, and not rely on just one food item, to get all the essential nutrients needed for good health. If you are experiencing changes in your vision, it is best to consult a doctor or an eye specialist to determine the cause. They can perform tests and provide a diagnosis and appropriate treatment, if necessary.

If I eat a certain sort of green chilli that is partially cooked and served whole, or served in large chunks, I can lose clarity of vision for about 15 to 20 minutes. A blurry, white haze descends over my right eye. It doesn't happen often, but it is a pattern that I have noticed over a few decades now. I decided to search for this query tonight, only because it happened when I ate at a Chinese restaurant earlier this evening. I do not have diabetes or any other condition that might cause similar symptoms. I recognise it when it happens, and think, "Ah, it's one of THOSE chillies!". The previous time was a charcoal grilled whole green chilli in a Turkish restaurant last summer. Very peculiar! I hope that this helps.

There is no evidence that chillies have any benefit for vision. chillies are actually a type of fruit and as such they are low in calories which means that they do not increase the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Consuming chili peppers or spicy foods, including chili, is not known to lead to blindness. Spiciness in food is primarily due to a compound called capsaicin, which can cause sensations of heat or burning but does not typically have harmful effects on vision or eye health.

Blindness is usually associated with eye conditions, diseases, or injuries. While some eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration can lead to vision problems or blindness, these are not caused by the consumption of chili peppers or spicy foods.

However, if you have a pre-existing eye condition or are experiencing eye discomfort after consuming spicy foods, it's essential to consult with an eye specialist or healthcare provider to address your specific concerns and receive proper care or advice for your eye health.
