There is no one answer to this question as it depends on the individual. Some people might like Sunday to be special because it is the day after Easter, while others might like it to be due to a special event such as the birth of their child. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to decide what they believe is most important to them.

Many people look at Sunday as a day of rest. While others feel it is a family day. I do believe in the Bible they set this day aside for a day of worship.

Some countries start their work week on Sunday and end it on Thursday. I'm not really sure why they do this except that some religions use Saturday as a day of rest and worship.

Many people believe that Sunday is just another day of the week and one to catch up on chores around the house, go out with the kids, plan a picnic, or just use the day to stay home and prepare for work the next day.

Each person should decide what makes Sunday special for them. It is basically up to you to make this day special. I don't believe any country will make Sunday some special day. it is up to us to do this ourselves. For me, Sunday doesn't have any special meaning and it is just another day of the week. I just know when Sunday comes that work is the next day and I try to make the most of the day and do what makes me happy.

For me I take Sunday as a rest day specifically meant for worship, and actually my day begins on Sunday. As a matter of fact people have different perspective about Sunday being the day the God set aside to rest.According to my perspective I feel like as long as you keep one day free out of the seven days in a week, then that's your special day of resting, may it be Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

It depends on you. Sunday is the first day of the week and if you want to treat it as special you can do so. But first, let us define Special? What do you think are the things that makes it special? Is this pampering yourself? Is this having a complete rest? Is this having a bonding with your family, staying at home, cooking for them, going to mass with them , or going out with your special someone. You need to define what is the meaning of special then you do it on a Sunday to make it special. Me I am looking forward for Sunday because that is my fun day because I could sleep late on Saturday and wake up late on a Sunday. That is also the time when I pamper myself with a good bath, watching downloaded movies and of course spending my time with my family and pets.

Sunday becomes a special day if you make it as such. For instance, if you set it aside for all the fun, fulfilling and relaxing moments with yourself or loved ones, it would definitely be a special day. On the other hand, if you do those things on other days, Sunday becomes Just another regular day.

I don't go for worship, have fun or do entertaining things on Sundays. So Sunday is just another regular day and I take it as it comes. I have friends that wear their best clothes and cook their favorite meals on Sundays. They go out and have fun too. So for them, Sunday is probably the best day of the week since they do regular things every other day of the week.

Right from time immemorial, Sunday has always been a special day for the family especially in my home where my mum made it a day of treating us to some sumptuous meals and we were always looking forward to it because we loved all the activities associated with the day.

Outing, visitations, family game time, playing like a family etc so it has always feature that special effects. For me I wouldn't want to change this special effect for Sunday because I'm doing same for my family now but if we are to change the day (Sunday) not to be special any longer, it just to stop  all the activities that makes it special and leave the day as it known the world over, just a day to worship God

There's is absolutely nothing you and I can do about Sunday being a special day. It remains that way since time immemorial so shall it continue to be. The thought of anybody changing it it's just a figment of such person's imagination. Just in case you don't know the significance of Sunday, permit me to break it down for you in an unambiguous manner.

Sunday is known in the Christian calendar as sabbath day. A day set aside to observe the worshipping of the Most High God. It is also called the Holy Day. Sunday is the only day of the week that marks the end of the outgoing week and the beginning of a new week.

It's so strategic that even the Christians and Muslims alike reckon Sundays as the only days of the week met for resting. That's why government offices don't open on that special day. As you can see, it's a special day and it will continue to remain that way until the end of time.

For most people, Sunday is the only day of the week when we are free to just bum out and relax. This may also be the time for families to get together and talk about their happenings the whole week. This is the usual case though if you want to make it more special that entirely depends on you. And if by special you mean memorable, then there are a lot of ways to do that. You can go out of town with your family or visit the nearest park just so you can take a break from the noisy city. On the other hand, if you really don't want to go out, then Sunday may be the best day to binge watch your favorite series or read the books that you've long promised yourself to look into.

Although I do think that any day of the week can be special depending on how you decide to spend them.

We cannot change the stereotype of people and cannot replace the point of view of many that Sundays are meant to be a rest day. Sundays are made for the family and a good time to stay away from stress from work on the following weekdays.

Changing Sunday as a special day would require a shift in cultural and religious traditions that have long recognized it as a day of rest and worship. This would involve a collective effort to redefine the importance of other days or create new rituals and customs that celebrate different values or beliefs.

The Lord's Day in Christianity is generally Sunday, the principal day of communal worship. It is observed by most Christians as the weekly memorial of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is said in the canonical Gospels to have been witnessed alive from the dead early on the first day of the week.
