Assalamu Alaykum brothers and sisters.

There are some Muslims who say that the pleasures of Jannah as described in the Quran are allegorical.

These people believe that these “allegories” tie in with the statement that Jannah is beyond imagination. So the verses about flowing streams and stuff are just allegorical, not what it will actually be.

But in the Hadiths, the Prophet Muhammad SAW described Jannah in ways that could not possibly be said to be allegorical.

Is this view by these people true? What is the view of the majority of scholars and those of the classic scholars?

As a classic Scholar, these views have been seen for many years that date back from centuries about what cultures, and others typically think, and believe in. Some believe in Mythology, some believe in many different, religions, because they want to be right about what they believe in, and it is very hard, because all we really need is evidence that we do not have for the right religion views.

Just like heaven in Christianity, it is also with Jannah in Islam that words cannot describe the rewards the righteous will have in the afterlife.

What Moslems thinks that when they die they will go either to Jannah or hell , and most of them think that they have the keys to Jannah, and what they think that in Jannah there is a river of wine and 70 mermaids and they can marry any woman and do what they want in Jannah which is something unlogic.

The difference between Moslems and Christians is that Christians believe in Paradise but they also believe that god decide who go there and in Paradise there is no marriage all people will be angels, so they spend time praying not following and marrying mermaids.
What is also bad in Moslems is that people always judge other religions and they judge that they will go to hell, they act as they own the keys of Jannah , Moslems act aggressive with other religions and always see themselves right and they hurt other people also they hurt and kills , they don't have peace at all . they even kill members of their families , each day in my country we hear that man killed his wife, that man killed his daughter , his brother his cousin and so on.
too bad that you are taught to kill and grown to be violence in your religion.

There is no wrong view of the view of the pleasures of Jannah being allegorical. All of the scholars of all sciences are agreed that it is true.

The interpretation of the pleasures of Jannah as allegorical or literal is a matter of personal belief and varies among Islamic scholars and individuals.
