Is emotional pain worse than physical pain?

Some people feel that emotional pain is worse because unlike physical pain you cannot take a pill to make it go away. What do you think?

It all depends on the degree of the physical pain, and note some physical injury can lead to emotional pain. Emotional pain can heal if you apply the right therapy like comforting yourself, meditation, taking responsibility, etc but some physical pain can be reoccurring and can affect your normal life.

I feel like emotional pain is very painfj than physical. With physical pain, the wounds can heal faster unlike the case with emotional pain. With emotional pain, you'll feel like you're being tortured over and over when you remember.

The way i feel about it is emotional pain can be tougher than physical pain,  being that when someone is talking to another person saying mean and hateful things those words get stuck in your mind and some words hurt more than being hit with a stone. taking a pill to help that pain will not help that type of pain.
