Ringworm ( roundworm, tapeworm, hookworm, or whipworm) is a fungus that can be transferred to the dog if your cat has it. Because it's a fungus, spores are in the air and could land n the skin of your dog.

Most wild animals have rabies. If the cat has it, it is most likely that a dog can be infected. I am sure that humans need to protect themselves when bitten by a cat or any other pets in the house. Anti-rabies vaccines are needed when it happens.
