Considering the traffic on the road today and how many accidents happen do you think riding a motorcycle is very safe?

As for me it's not safe to travel motorcycles in highways,  mostly accidents happened and motorcycles are always involve..

For me, it depends on the driver. If you're careful and mindful of your surroundings, then it can be safe for you.

Safety is always the watchword. Even if you driving a car on highways you just have to be extremely careful or else accident would be inevitable. Same is applicable to riding of motorcycle on highways.

Motorcycle is never safe on the highway,it a bit risky and because of this,my country has enacted a law against the use of motorcycle on our highway. So nobody uses or ride a bike on our highway.

I agree with you. It depends on who ever is handling the controls. The more careful you are, the lesser the risk of an accident. I prefer motorbikes mostimes to cars because they get me on time even in high traffic situations. Bikes can easily maneuver and find quick access.

In my opinion, it's not safe to travel using motorcycles in a very busy road because it's prone to accidents. Personally, I hate motorcycle and its accidents are 80% fatal.

I drive cars for 15 years and bikes for 10 years. From my experience, there are just too many ifs on the road. It doesn't matter how many wheels you drive, two-wheeled bike or 18 wheeler truck, you must constantly pay attention to your surroundings. Same with areas where you riding. Urban areas may be more crowded and have more traffic compared to the countryside, but there are still so many dangers to be considered as wild animals.

I think no, driving a motorcycle is safe as driving a car. Though I must admit you'll need extra protection riding a motorcycle. For example, having a helmet like one of these is mandatory in my opinion, even if you're driving 30 miles per hour.

I think it is very safe to ride a motorcycle on a busy highway or freeway. I have never been in a accident, and I know it's not like driving a car, where you would think "what could happen?" You're actually very safe.

Well, it depends from where you are considering driving them. If you are in India or in Brazil motorbikes can be quite dangerous due to the traffic levels....now if you are in certain areas in Canada it can dangerous because of snow storms etc...

It always depends on where you are located.

If you are using a bike to drive locally chances are you will be mostly ok. Now if you want to take busy highways I would rather advise you to drive a car instead.

It all depends on the place and driving habit; in World almost every highway and freeway have two wheelers riding; there are even biker associations who do even stunts; they are experienced people, however with their habit, they might cause accidents. According to some surveys, 18% of road accidents happened with motorcycles, this is a bit short because 82% do not include motorcycles.

However, in something like "Traffic Jam" it is always two wheelers which easily comes out of jam, riders always make their way out fron little left places; so riders might not like to get a ban on the use.

Approximately million people die every year due to road traffic.  More than half of all road traffic deaths are among unsafe road users: pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.

Mostly road traffic injuries are caused by motorcycles, without a helmet and drinking alcohol playing a significant role. Day by day youth who do unnecessary stunts in between is also a big reason.

According to my opinion it is not safe to ride a motorcycle but to reduce the accidents caused by motorcycles there should be a separate lane with maximum safety, traffic rules and speed limit.

14% of motor accidents make up all traffic-related death. It is relatively dangerous but if you are an avid fan of using motorcycle proper usage of gear such as using a helmet and checking brakes can reduce fatal injuries.

In my view it is easy for those who has drived motorcycle for 2 or more than 2 years on different types of roads and it is very hard for those who has drived it for less than 6months because on highways the roads are good but maximum movement on highways is of big overloaded trucks and buses due to which there is always chance of big accidents also.

My partner has a motorbike and I have been on the back but I never felt very safe or comfortable. The trouble with bikes is the accidents are often more severe for the people involved because there is so little protection even with a helmet. In the UK helmets are compulsory but before this we had far more fatalities on our roads so they do give some protection. Riding on the main roads where it is permitted to go faster poses more of a threat to a rider should there be an accident. Even the safest rider can be involved in an accident that is not his fault.

It will be safe if the riders keep distance and not speed away fast. Some riders are not thinking this way. For some reason, they want to show off to people. The most common culprit is drinking alcohol before driving. It is what makes them plunge into an accident.

They also think their motorcycles can fly and just drive on very high naughty speeds.

It is not safe. On highways especially cars speeding up despise motorcycles especially in my country and they end up being knocked down mercilessly.

Of course no

Motorcycle is a way to death in busy ways

In our country mot( mean death) cycle

The safer thing is a car in highways

Because you don't know what could happen if you are in speed and a car suddenly comes over you or you loose Control
Cars have protections like seat belts and air bag

No, I do not think motorcycles are a safe way to travel on busy highways and freeways. Motorcycles are much more vulnerable to accidents than other vehicles due to their smaller size and lack of protection. Additionally, the speed and agility of motorcycles can lead to dangerous situations on the road if the rider is not careful.

I think it is very safe to ride a motorcycle on a busy highway or freeway. I have never been in a accident, and I have seen many different types of motorcycles. I think the risks are worth it to ride a motorcycle.

Motorcycles can be an efficient mode of transportation, but they come with inherent risks, especially when traveling on busy highways and freeways. The lack of protective barriers and the smaller size of motorcycles compared to other vehicles make riders more vulnerable in the event of a collision. Additionally, factors such as high speeds, heavy traffic, and unpredictable road conditions can increase the risk of accidents for motorcyclists.

However, with proper training, adherence to safety protocols such as wearing protective gear, and defensive driving techniques, motorcyclists can mitigate some of these risks. It's crucial for motorcyclists to stay vigilant, anticipate potential hazards, and follow traffic laws to enhance their safety while traveling on busy highways and freeways. Ultimately, whether motorcycles are a safe way to travel in such environments depends on various factors including individual riding skills, experience, and risk management practices.
