No you can't pet a lion.  Its known worldwide that lion is a wild animal and anyone  who will be found rearing  will be either jailed or charged a lot of cash.  Lion is a very wild animal feared by many and its only special  people who can handle them under certain  circumstances.  Have seen some people  keeping  hyenas and hippopotamus as pets but these arent very wild like lions.

Keeping a lion as a pet is not the wisest thing to do. A lion is a wild cat that belongs to the wild. No matter how gentle they are at young age, they still grow to be wild because it is in their nature.

Keeping a lion at home isn't even legal as it is a danger to your life and property as well as others. The zoo is safer where they are kept under strict precaution and then people can visit.

First of all, I don't think lions should be treated as pets like cats and dogs. They are wild animals, and therefore should live in the wild where they play a significant role in being the apex predator. Relatedly, lions cannot be easily tamed as their behavior is of typical hunter hunting for its prey. Thus, it would be very dangerous for someone to keep a lion as a pet.

Lion is a wild animals and as such its natural habitat is in the wild where he can hunt, reproduce and keep the natural population growing. I don't support the idea of petting lion at home, the reason animal right organisations are against animal captivity. Like humans, animals too deserves freedom, and most specie of lions are considered endangered, and continuous captivity will lead to dwindling population before extinction. So the answer is no

This idea is not possible. Even we go around the globe, no one will dare to pet a lion. Unless if they are in the zoo. As for me, I am in favor to let the lions be catered to in the zoo. They need to be living in their natural habitat.

No. Keeping any wild animal as a pet means the lives of other animals in the domestic vicinity and also the lives of other humans in danger. Unless you pet the lion to act like a cat and extremely manipulate to let go of it's wild insticnts. Which is not going to be an easy thing. You find petting a lion is hard.

There are a few things that can help protect against lion attacks. One is to keep a safe distance when petting a lion, as petting a lion can cause injuries. Another way to protect yourself is to keep your distance between you and a lion, as they can be dangerous to humans.

Absolutely not. Lions are wild animals that require specialized care and environments. Keeping them as pets is dangerous, unethical, and illegal.

No, nobody should even try to pet a lion, there are much more previous on the record incidents are present in which lions suddenly changed it's behaviour and given deadly harm to his even trainer and food supplier. Just imagine if they can harm to their expert trainer and food provider then, will not they harm to normal individual. So in my view never even think to pet them no matter how much precautions you have taken.

They are wild and potentially dangerous, and as such do not adjust well to a captive environment. No matter how tempting it is to cuddle or pet such wild animals, it is never a good idea to even get close to them.
