Cyanobacteria is a producer. It is not considered a decomposer nor a consumer. Cyanobacteria is a form of algae. It is more commonly known as blue/blue-green algae. It produces it's own food.

Cyanobacteria is a producer, not a decomposer. It produces oxygen and energy for itself through the process of photosynthesis. It has thylakoids which are used to produce food. It is also known as Blue-green algae.
