A friend of ours recently married a woman from Thailand and she is an amazing cook. She served up some of these and although I didn't like the sound of them they were quite delicious. They were a little chewier than I imagined but had a great spicy flavour and although many people wouldn't try them I enjoyed them.

I don't think there are any disadvantages it's just the thought of eating a chicken's foot can make people a little queasy if they are not used to this kind of cuisine but as long as they are cooked properly in hygienic conditions they are no more dangerous than any other food.

I think the disadvantage of eating chicken feet does not differ from the risks associated with eating any other food--that is, food safety concerns. As such, one should ensure that the source is from a well-inspected farm or market, and that the dish is properly prepared or cooked.

I do not think there is a problem with eating them. Unless they are not clean when cooked or it is not good for those hypertensive people, the skin of these chicken feet will cause high cholesterol levels.

I actually love chicken feet. We grew up eating chicken feet and intestines, the liver , the head and other insides of the chicken. We sometimes had it with pap or porridge, not soft porridge though. Even now, we have people who are making a killing from selling chicken feet because a lot of people eat it.

Chicken feet are a popular delicacy in some cultures and are rich in collagen, protein, and minerals. They require slow cooking to soften the skin and bones and are often used to add flavor to soups and stews. Some people enjoy the texture, while others find it unappealing. It's a matter of personal taste!  But I'd prefer them to feed my dog!
