Managing a business will be hard for me because I have high spending  habits.  I would rather prefer a job whereby I have a schedule of things to do and someone to supeevise my work ones in a while.  If I should run a business, then I'll  be the CEO and I should have some managing directors to help me in the running of the company.

I'd choose to be an employee rather than own a business. Businesses nowadays need to always be profit-driven for it to sustain its operations. Being an employee, although far from achieving millions, would be my ticket to creating a difference especially since I ought to work in the government or in institutions that run for a good cause.

Business is good if you have the right idea, and locate it in the right environment. Also in business you are responsible for your decisions, and the profits could be huge most times. Another advantage of business is that it teaches you to manage your resources both human and capital resources. Time management is also is key advantage in business, you make your schedules and stick to them instead of taking directives from superiors like in a job.

This is a very important questions especially for those who are yet to start their chosen career. Any of the two can be chosen depending on the preference of an individual. It is deeply rooted to the upbringing, personal beliefs, and personality of a person. But it is to be considered that there are pros and cons on either creating a startup business or getting a job in the corporate world. Here are some of them:

1. Passion

The passion within the team members and the owner is what keeps a startup or a business going. They love what they do, they understand every piece of it, and they are willing to do extra efforts and work in order to reach the business' goals. For people who wants new and exciting business venture, it will be attractive since work attitude is different if you are interested with what you do.

2. Risk

This is a point for working in a corporate job. It is undeniable that startups have a high risk of failure. Owners should have a great business plan and strategy in order to sustain his company. One wrong move may affect the whole enterprise. Unlike in corporations, they have already established their identity so well that the risk of failing becomes drastically smaller.

3. Company Culture

Company culture is what attracts business people to build their own startup. Corporations have already existing rules and laws to follow, startups don't. As team members, you are yet to create the company culture you prefer and suitable for the company you want to build. Company culture may include ways on how to increase productivity, teamwork, and flexibility. A more arduous yet a more exciting work especially for the original members of the business.

Choosing really depends on the personality of an individual. Some says that younger generation now prefers more to start their own business that to work in a corporate job. The freedom and excitement that startups offer is what excites them.

You can do work and do business at the same time. Unless if you are a person who is flexible. If not, then it will not be ideal for you. As for me, I can do this with the right business and job.

A job is a type of activity in which someone is used to or engaged for a specific purpose and which is usually associated with a certain sector of the workforce. Jobs may be in the form of a job title, a work process, a step in the process, or a position in a company. Jobs can also be found in the natural or man-made world.

In a job, you earn a salary, but business owners can earn a salary and enjoy the profits of their business when it is successful. However, your income from working a job is more reliable than earning an income from your business. If you come to work in a job, you get paid for your time
