My brother had such before and he couldn't staybin peace because he was always on his toes trying  to  find that itchy  spot and scratch it.  He used to apply some flour between the toes and at times he would grind some onions and apply them.  He used to find some comfort after applying.  The best way is,  just wipe your toes very well before wearing  shows. Whenever you are indoors,  make sure you're  wearing  some open shoes to allow aeration of air.

When growing up we used to have this athlete's foot ingmfwction. My grand would always treat it with applying table sugar in between the feet. Wear dry socks and shoes. After taking a shower make sure you wipe off all the water in between the feet. You can also use petroleum jelly non perfumed. Smear it in the affected feef regularly.

The home remedy that you can use is the mixed solution of warm coconut oil with tea tree oil of at least 25%. Then, apply to the affected area twice a day.
