The body needs 7 to 9 hours of sleep daily, when you sleep late you may likely deprive the body of the adequate hours of sleep especially on a working day when you need to get up for work or a business meeting. Poor sleep affects our mental health, concentration, and  performance at work. Children need more hours of sleep than the adults, therefore the advice for early bed time for children. Conditions that aid early bedtime is mind relaxation, early dinner, and enough physical activity.

Ofcourse, not enoght sleeping makes bad for our health because it makes our immune system weak. It makes you look saggy. That's why sleeping is more important rather than eating food.

It's true you have said it right, sleeping is very essential in keeping our body healthy and strong.

Yes, because when the body does not gain the rest it needs to fuel you for the rest of the day, chances are your immune system will weaken and you'll soon find yourself sick. Not only is lack of sleep harmful for the body, it also harms the mind as people who have slept less than what is needed by their body typically have problems focusing and concentrating on the things they need to do. It also affects their mood as they are often irritated for no reason at all.

Sleeping late can be bad for you if you do not get the deserving amount of sleep. If you wake up early again, then you have deprived your body of the much needed rest to function. However, if you sleep late and proceed to get six or more hours into the morning, it is all good. Not everyone has a 9-5 job. Some have 3-11 jobs.

Very true all these happens due to lack of good sleep. Sleep has so many benefits to the body and the sleep pattern should also be maintained.

A norma time duration to sleep is at least 8 hours. It is fine to sleep late, but you need to compensate for the lack of sleep by having a nap during the daytime. I always sleep late and wake up early. However, I still have my quick nap in the afternoon to keep me going to my daily lives.

Certain life stages require more sleep. Young children will need a good 10-12 hours and teens also seem to need a good 8-9 hours and this is normal. I used to sleep more when I was younger but now only need around 5 hours.

There is such a thing as too much sleep though. Research has shown that on a regular basis it can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes and even death. Too much is defined as more than 9 hours.

Yes there is too little and too much both of which have effects to our bodies. So we should strive to gear around the normal to be on the safe side.

Regular poor sleep puts you at risk of serious medical conditions, including obesity, heart disease and diabetes – and it shortens your life expectancy. It's now clear that a solid night's sleep is essential for a long and healthy life.

I think it is not bad for health but it is bad for your future and your career. If you sleeping late then it contort your life cycle. For the good health you take 7-8 hours sleep. It is enough for a person.

It is bad, our bodies need to rest and rejuvenate to gain energy for the next day. Sleeping late also lowers productivity. As Elon Musk once said, sleeping late lowers productivity and the body needs rest. Hence we should not deny our bodies that right.

I really don't it's bad, but I've never tried it, but according to the doctors it's not good because if you don't have an active life you tend to get sick more than normal

Sleeping late (also known as "night owl" behavior) can be associated with some health risks, including an increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, and mental health problems. However, the relationship between sleep patterns and health is complex and can be influenced by other factors such as genetics, lifestyle, and overall health. It's important to get enough sleep to support overall health and well-being, regardless of whether you are a "morning person" or a "night owl."

Sleeping late can definitely have a negative effect on your health. It disrupts your body's natural sleep/wake cycle, making it more difficult for your body to settle into a regular routine and giving it less time to recharge and regenerate. Not getting enough quality sleep can leave you feeling groggy and lethargic during the day, as well as impacting your ability to concentrate. Prolonged late sleeping may also increase your risk of depression and anxiety, while compromising your immune system, making you more vulnerable to infection. For these reasons, it's best to stick to a regular bedtime and wake-up schedule.
