If it can be properly converted into something better, I'd say that is possible to change the world. But most likely it should be used for curing the disease and also learning about how to find the geographical crisis issues. That would be pretty good use for it. 

Also making use of it for finding answers to terraforming other planets can be a good start. I have seen that there are some really good uses of the quantum computers which can be useful.
