Today my inverter is showing an error code btp in display. It's not working with battery backup. I am now using the bypass mode at the back of the inverter. My UPS inverter model is Luminous Zelio 1700 with two 12 tubular batteries.

The btp error code in inverters describes that the  mains input MCB on the inverter is tripped so as to protect the device from a short circuit or lightening. During this error the inverter will be in OFF position.

Remove any newly connected device or any existing electrical device that may have shorting and try to ON the MCB as well as the inverter.

In some cases btp error may even lead to a board complaint if the MCB couldn't protect the inverter.

BTP error code in Luminous Zelio inverter usually indicates a battery temperature sensing issue. The inverter is designed to shut down when the battery temperature is too high to protect the battery from damage. You can try to reset the inverter by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting it after a few minutes. If that does not work, then you may need to contact an authorized service center to get the issue resolved.

I was getting the same error in my Zolt 1100 invertor model.
I opened the invertor and found that the fan was not working,

So, I cleaned the fan and re-installed it.
The problem was solved.

The "BTP" error code in a Luminous Zelio inverter typically indicates a low battery voltage condition. This error occurs when the inverter detects that the battery voltage has dropped below the acceptable level. To address this issue, you may want to check and take the following steps:Battery Voltage: Verify the voltage of your inverter battery. If it's too low, you may need to recharge or replace the battery.Battery Connections: Ensure that the battery connections are secure and free from corrosion.Charging System: Check if the inverter is receiving a proper charging supply. Ensure that the charging source (grid power or solar) is functioning correctly.Load Conditions: Reduce the connected load on the inverter. Excessive load can lead to a drop in battery voltage. If the issue persists, it's recommended to consult the user manual for your specific model or contact Luminous customer support for further assistance.
