From my experience, having a warm bath before bedtime can help to have a good sleep quickly. A warm bath can help the body to relax. When our body temp tends to drop, it induces better sleep.

Take warm milk and calcium pills (Tums) at bed time. Calcium is a natural relaxer and pain controller. A day's dose of calcium at each meal will control the pain of a sore tooth until you can get to a dentist.

From my experience when I am very active during the day for example with work or exercise. This makes my body get tired and demand rest, this process induces sleep, but for a perfect sleep what I do is have my dinner and doze off.  Watching TV for me also induces sleep, then lastly eating certain proteins food also helps in sleep. The report has it that developing a culture of a specific sleep time, will make your body adapt to that timing.

Waking up as soon as you actually wake up. Because sometimes it's very tempting to lay in bed for a while, especially if it's cold outside. I noticed that if I do it, it's usually harder to fall asleep at night.

After going to bed, involve the brain in any activity or series of thoughts.

Have you ever observed that reading a book or watching any video in bed gets you to sleep quickly?

Another method is sleeping on the bed in a very relaxed position, start counting in your mind or focusing on your breathing. This will also help.

First step for getting to sleep quickly in my opinion would be "Get on a schedule". Other than that you can avoid taking naps during the day & pratice yoga, meditation , mindfullness. Or you can have lukewarm shower before going to bed at night. Wear comfy clothes and drink a glass of milk boiled with a pinch of kesar in it.

You can set the temparature of the room & try 4-7-8 breathing method.

There are so many ways to sleep without using sleeping pills. You can try to count while the eyes are closed. Try to drink hot milk prior to this counting.

The best way that has been working for me for years is I put on my headphones, play some soothing music and just close my eyes and listen to it. Also try listening to sad songs, sometimes they really help, especially if you had a bad day. I usually fall asleep within 10 minutes.

Getting sleep should be natural as the very first thing should be avoid using mobile from one hour before sleep because the blue rays which comes from looking at mobile screen distracts the sleep and causes insomnia. And taking a hot water bath and exercising regularly eventually bring you a sound sleep.

1. Establish a consistent sleep routine. Going to bed and waking up at the same time every day can help regulate your body's internal clock and make it easier to fall asleep.

2. Avoid naps. Taking naps during the day can make it harder to fall asleep at night.

3. Exercise regularly. Regular physical activity can help you sleep better at night.

4. Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol close to bedtime. All three of these substances can interfere with the quality of your sleep.

5. Avoid large meals and beverages late at night. Eating a heavy meal or drinking too many fluids close to bedtime can cause discomfort and make it harder to fall asleep.

6. Avoid screens close to bedtime. The blue light from screens can stimulate your brain and make it harder to sleep.

7. Relax before bed. Taking a hot bath, reading a book, or practicing relaxation techniques can help you relax and make it easier to fall asleep.

Some quick and easy ways to get to sleep are to take a nap, read a book, play video games, or take a sleep worth. Some reasons why people might want to try sleep sleep are to avoid fatigue, to improve their overall health, or to improve their sleep quality.
