It depends on your style/budget/clothes/decoration for the wedding, I would say.

Some like really heavy makeup, some prefer natural beauty. Matching your makeup with the decor for the wedding gives a nice touch for the pictures.

Pearly shine, some pink and blush hurt no one. Make sure you just dont wear anything too heavy or non tear-proof...or your face could end up smeared in the pictures :)

Mostly, do what you are most comfortable with. There is no need to spend thousands with make up either, some use drugstore makeup and look gorgeous, so :)

Bridal makeup is not just about the make-up artist or the brand of cosmetics that you chose. It is also about getting prepared from a couple of months before the wedding, to get enough sleep and have a healthy diet. At the end of the day, if the brides face looks tired from all the wedding activities and shopping, no matter how much make up the bride has on, the eyes and face will give out the tiredness. There may even be chances of pimples.

Best tips to follow for Bridal Makeup :

1. As a bride prepare yourself to be healthy and get enough sleep

2. Keep tensions away and concentrate on being the most positive and beautiful bride you want to be

3. Research online. Go to Facebook and Instagram pages. Contact the top make-up artists and discuss your requirements and budget with them.

4. If you find someone within your budget, go for make-up and hair styling trials to have an idea of which foundation and makeup suits your skin tone

5. Keep your face and body moisturized well before make up, to avoid having a dry face

6. Stay hydrated to get that natural glow post makeup

7. Go with products that will accentuate your facial features in a moderate way. Use a highlighter to highlight your cheek bones.

It's depend on your personality or the theme of wedding. For traditional theme, the bride usually have a heavy make up. For modern theme you can choose to be full make up but still looks normal as like we attend a formal ceremony/party. Or simply use natural make up. Soft lipstick with only shading on eyes will looks naturally beautiful. For more you can add shading on cheeks, red lipstick and with eye shadow, don't add things too much and thick.

1. Choose a natural look – When it comes to bridal makeup, less is more. Stick to a natural look that enhances your features, and be sure to use products that will last all day.

2. Start with a primer – Primers can help your makeup last longer and also help to create a smooth canvas for your makeup application.

3. Invest in good makeup – Quality makeup is worth the extra money. Invest in high-quality products that will last all day.

4. Choose the right foundation – Make sure to choose a foundation that matches your skin tone and apply it with a damp beauty blender for a natural, flawless finish.

5. Don’t forget to set your makeup – Setting your makeup is essential to help it last all day. Make sure to use a setting spray or powder to help keep your makeup in place.

6. Keep your look timeless – Bridal makeup should reflect your individual style but also remain timeless. Consider more classic makeup looks that won’t date.

7. Play with colors – While you should keep your look timeless, you can still add a pop of color with your lip or eye makeup.

8. Don’t forget the details – Take the time to focus on the details. Add a few individual lashes, highlight your cheekbones and dab a bit of illuminator on your cupid’s bow for a glowing finish.

9. Practice ahead of time – Make sure to practice your bridal look ahead of time. This will help you to perfect your look and feel confident on the day.

10. Enjoy the process – Have fun with your makeup and enjoy the process! Your wedding day should be a day to remember and cherish.

it's important to keep in mind that everyone's skin type, tone, and preferences are different, and it's always best to consult with a professional makeup artist to create a look that suits you best.

Here are some tips to consider:

Start with a good skincare routine: Before applying any makeup, it's essential to take good care of your skin by cleansing, moisturizing, and using products that address any skin concerns you may have.

Choose long-lasting products: Bridal makeup should be long-lasting and able to withstand tears, hugs, and dancing. Look for waterproof and sweat-resistant products that will stay put all day.

Consider the lighting: Your makeup should be suitable for the lighting in which your wedding will take place. If your wedding is outdoors during the day, natural-looking makeup is ideal. If your wedding is indoors or in the evening, you can go for a more dramatic look.

Enhance your natural features: Bridal makeup should enhance your natural features and not overpower them. Choose a foundation that matches your skin tone and use neutral or soft shades for eyes, lips, and cheeks.

Don't forget about the brows: Your eyebrows frame your face, and well-groomed brows can make a significant difference in your overall look. Fill in any sparse areas with a brow pencil or powder.

Consider your dress and accessories: Your makeup should complement your dress and accessories. If you're wearing a bold and glamorous dress, you may want to go for a more dramatic makeup look. If you're wearing a simple and elegant dress, you can opt for a more natural look.

Do a trial run: It's always a good idea to do a trial run of your bridal makeup a few weeks before the wedding to ensure that you're happy with the look and that it lasts all day.

Remember, bridal makeup should make you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable on your special day

Start with Skincare: Ensure a clean and well-moisturized canvas for makeup by following a skincare routine leading up to the wedding.

Choose Long-Lasting Products: Opt for long-wearing foundation, eyeshadow, and lipstick to maintain a fresh look throughout the day.

Match Foundation Correctly: Select a foundation that matches your skin tone perfectly. Consider the lighting of the venue for a natural look.

Waterproof Everything: Use waterproof mascara and eyeliner to prevent smudging, especially if tears are likely.

Blend Well: Blend your makeup thoroughly to avoid harsh lines. This is crucial for a flawless and natural finish.

Consider the Lighting: Keep in mind the lighting of the venue. If it's indoors, you might need a slightly heavier hand than for an outdoor event.

Trial Run: Do a trial run of your makeup before the big day to ensure you're comfortable with the look and that it complements your dress.

Highlight and Contour: Use highlighting and contouring techniques to enhance your features and add dimension to your face.

Set with Powder: Set your makeup with a translucent powder to reduce shine and increase the longevity of your look.

Stay True to Your Style: Ultimately, choose a bridal makeup style that reflects your personal taste and makes you feel confident and beautiful.
