I don't think so. You won't believe it , but pomegranate can increase your blood sugar level. Pomegranate is beneficial for health but it also contains sufficient amount of sugar. A pomegranate contains about 39 grams of sugar. Dibeties patients should avoid taking pomegranate.

Yes, if raw. Not bottled. Pomegranate is one of the fruits that's very rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C-- evident-based documented studies reveal that Vitamin C reverses diabetes. My family is in it regularly. We eat pomegranate raw-- seeds and all juices-- raw. Bottled pomegranate juice is not advisable.
