Its totally a myth, rather tooth pain increases lying in bed because when one lies down , more blood rushes to head which puts considerable pressure to sensitive areas in mouth. as a result tooth pain becomes more painful.

A toothache may get worse when you get into bed. This is because one lies down, blood rushes to the head and it may lead to pressure over the sensitive areas of the mouth. Due to this toothache becomes more unbearable.

It will worsen if not have any pain medications with a toothache. The best way is to consult a dentist so that you will not endure the localized pain.

No, lying down does not make a toothache worse. It is important to see a dentist as soon as possible to get the toothache treated.

Lying down does not cause any additional pain or discomfort for a toothache. The pain can be managed through medications, ice/heat packs, and other home remedies until the patient is able to visit the dentist.
