The issue may be due to regulator or the cylinder compatibility. It usually comes with 20 or 21 mm. The regulator need to be connected to the bottle before proceeding to the heater. The regulator needs to be pressed into the cylinder valve to get connected firmly.

Check whether sealing ring is in place inside the cylinder valve by feeling the same with the help of your finger.

Do not use the cylinder if the ring is missing, put back the safety cap and contact your cylinder distributor for the replacement.

Or else the regulator might be a faulty one and needs to be replaced.

There are a few reasons why your LPG regulator might not fit your cylinder. The LPG regulator is typically built into the body of the cylinder, so it is not possible to connect it to the outside of the cylinder. or) The LPG regulator is not compatible with some types of cylinders (e.g. "Weyess"), which are not made with a round bore.

There are several reasons why an LPG regulator may not fit a cylinder, some of which include:

Compatibility: LPG regulators are designed to fit specific types of cylinders. If the regulator you have is not compatible with the cylinder you are trying to use, it may not fit properly.

Thread size: The threads on the regulator and the cylinder must match in order for the regulator to fit. If the thread size is different, the regulator will not attach properly.

Damaged threads: If the threads on the cylinder or the regulator are damaged, it may prevent them from attaching properly.

Faulty regulator: If the regulator is faulty or damaged, it may not fit properly on the cylinder.

If you are experiencing difficulty fitting your LPG regulator onto a cylinder, it is recommended to check the compatibility and thread size, and to inspect the threads for any signs of damage. If you are unable to identify the issue, it is best to seek the assistance of a qualified professional to ensure proper installation and use of your LPG system

There are a few reasons why a LPG regulator doesn't fit a cylinder. The most common reason is that the LPG regulator is not compatible with the cylinder's AWG2 wire. Other reasons include not being able to Order the LPG regulator in bulk from the company, since it is not available as an unit at the store, or not being able to fit the regulator in the cylinder.

There could be a few reasons why your LPG regulator doesn't fit a cylinder:

1. Incompatibility: The regulator may not be designed to fit the specific type or size of the LPG cylinder you are using.

2. Incorrect attachment: The regulator may not be attached properly or securely to the cylinder valve.

3. Damaged threads: The threads on either the regulator or the cylinder valve could be damaged, preventing a proper fit.

It is advisable to consult the manufacturer or a qualified professional to ensure compatibility and address any fitting issues.
