I just can't put into words just how much I love my wife. All I can say is that it's so much, I can't be apart from her too long or I am just a lovesick mess.

That aside, when a sunrise or sunset happens, my feelings for her just gush forth. It's like I'm falling in love with that beautiful face all over again. It leaves me yearning to cuddle and kiss her, to gaze into her eyes in the rising or setting sun. We actually did one time when it was getting dark.

A little FYI. At dawn, this seems to happen not only when the sunrise is beautiful and the sky is pink, etc.

It's triggered even when there are rain clouds covering the sky. (I live in the UK, so we get a lot of that). Whereas in the evening, it's triggered only when the sunset is beautiful, illuminating the place.

And if the sun rises or sets in a place that reminds me of my wife, it's more ecstatic. And it gets better when I have a song stuck in my head that I associate with the place I associate with my wife.

Wow! That was a mouthful!

I'm very sorry if you can't understand what I'm talking about, but this is the best I can do in trying to explain what I feel.

Anyway, does anyone else feel this way about their partner, or is it just me?

In their absence we miss them, this happens when we are too used to certain people being around us, and when they step out we miss them. This is also indication we like those we are missing.

Quite a difficult question! In some psycho-analysis during our college days we were asked if we liked sunset or a sunrise more. While the sunrise used to reflect optimism and positivity, the sunset was likened to pessimism and negativity. What I can make out in your case is that you have a complex case wherein you have your partner both as a strength and a weakness...

Never mind all this explanation, my dear, and continue with your beautiful, poetic thoughts and their wonderful articulation.

Experiencing a beautiful sunrise or sunset often evokes powerful emotions and memories. For some, the awe-inspiring colors and beauty of the sunrise or sunset can remind them of a loved one, such as a wife. It can be a reminder of the beauty and love that exists in our lives, a realization that we have something so special that captures the beauty of the world around us. Seeing a sunrise or sunset can be a reminder of the love we have for our wives and others that make life worth living.

Yes, I do. I love my wife very much. When I see a sunrise or sunset, I feel this amazing feeling of love just from the beauty of the sky and the sun. I can't help it because she is the most amazing person and I love her so much.
