This declaration is of course justified. Almost 2 million people in about 210 countries have been affected by the virus, resulting in almost 130,000 deaths. Potential cure are still in the trials stage.

I see the worldwide emergency as an over kill. Thousands have been killed due to the flu virus, this is just new and scary as well as spreading rapidly like many other viruses. This one seems a little more dangerous.

it has been declared a worldwide emergency. one of the reasons is, we dont have a vaccine and its easily spread from person to person. there are a lot of things we dont kmow abot this virus. and experts say that untill we find a vaccine, this is going to stay.

one thing is for sure, people are going to take hygene more seriously from now on.

It has already been declared as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern by the World Health Organization (WHO) as early as January 30, 2020 and was recognized as Pandemic this March 11. This declaration is of course justified. Almost 2 million people in about 210 countries have been affected by the virus, resulting in almost 130,000 deaths. Potential cure are still in the trials stage.

When this question was asked we were only at the very beginning of the virus and I don't think anyone knew how severe it would get. I live in the UK and we have had the highest death toll in Europe, more than 44,000 deaths which is way over what we would have for previous years. Our country was not even put into lockdown until March 23rd, not fast enough in most people's opinion.

The world has gone through various deadliest diseases: Ebola, SARS-Covid, Marburg Virus, Influena, Denge...

And the 2020 worldwide economy lockdown or MASS Quarantine is unprecedented. And the world survived even there had never been economy lockdowns.

Every human life matters. Even one death is devastating.

Yes, coronavirus pandemic should be declared as worldwide emergency because it is not the problem of any single country it is the problem of whole world due to this many peoples has lost their lives, many employees or workers has lost their jobs, many countries GDP has gone down until last 5 months. All schools and colleges are closed due to this students carriers golden time is wasting. Middle class family has affected the most due to this Covid-19.

It is happening now. Am I missing something? It was declared to be pandemic because the coronavirus is widespread to a lot of countries at present. I hope that it will stop the spread of it.

There is no definitive answer to this question. While a coronavirus should be considered a global emergency if it is caused by a virus, there is no evidence that coronavirus infections are being considered as a potential cause of the LASIK outbreak. Furthermore, it is difficult to determine whether or not a global emergency has been declared for coronavirus infections. While it is important to note that there is no definitive answer to this question, it is important to consider all of the evidence and decide whether or not a global emergency has been declared.

Coronavirus can have many different forms and it is difficult to say which is the world’s biggest or most problematized. A global emergency is therefore never given without a large and definitive study which can not be performed online.
