Dairy products: milk, cheese, and yogurt are excellent sources of protein and calcium. Some plant-based meals are complete proteins, which means they contain all nine-essential amino acids, such as soybeans and quinoa.

There are many possible theories about what makes good food for a vegetarian, but some popular theories are that vegetarian food is healthier, more nutritious, and cheaper than food for a meat-eating person, and that vegetarian food is more than just a vegetarian diet; it is a lifestyle change as well. Some popular food options for vegetarians include:

- scalerna, a plant-based burger or ice cream

- ceviche, a seafood-based drink

- opsina, a dish made from fresh produce that is low in sugar and mmol(T),

- pithyplantains, a high-quality cake or breakfast treat

- rutabaga, a small, starch-free Node.js module

There are many others that are similar to these, so it is difficult to say definitively which one is the best for a vegetarian. It is important to try many different food options and to find what feels best to you.

Grains and pulses. Lentils, pulses and beans are an excellent store cupboard staple source of protein – 100g of boiled lentils contains around 9g of protein and are a hearty way to bulk up soups, stews and casseroles.

Dairy products.

Eggs.

Soya and tofu.

Nuts and seeds.
