I learned how to play a guitar when I was in grade 6 in the elementary and I learned later the best chords combination from my classmate in high school who is a good guitar player. 

I may consider the following chords as the best guitar chords combination:

C, am, F and G. These chords are basic and I  used them when I sing the song, Diana made famous by Paul Anka.
