I do think you can sterilize baby bottles in microwaves but you have to be careful in order not to destroy the bottle in the process.

-start with a clean microwave

-fill the bottles half way with water

- sterilize for one to two minutes or according to manufacturer instructions

- use oven mittens to take the bottle out then dump the water

-let it sit and air dry

Why the heck would you do that surely? What is the work of a microwave? Sterilizing baby bottles is not among it's functions. It is true we use plastics in a microwave but,  surely, it is to warm food.

Yes, you can sterilise baby bottles in the microwave. just heat them on the top for a few minutes before using the filling process.
