Soda is full of sugar and will drive away the appetite for food necessary to build muscles. Better drink just mineral water.

In fact, it cannot affect muscles that much. It is food for the brain. Since it has glucose content, it can help the person to think rightly. However, it is not advisable to have it at a high volume level if the person has diabetes mellitus. It will be a big No for them.

Soda does contain alot of sugars which runins appetite for food which is necessary for building muscles. It's rather advisable to take water and fresh fruit juices.
