Sugar is a form of starch that can lead to obesity and diabetes. Often, we adults consume starch and sugary food  excessively. Children who are given packed, factory-manufactured juices, can experience weight gain, hyperactive tendencies (they are not supposed to be in classrooms all day anyway), and diabetes.  But hair loss? I haven't seen kids hair-loss yet because of sugar-laden food. :-)

I heard that artificial sweeteners are used in these drinks, Coke softdrinks...

Sugar is used to remove dead cells from the scalp. Without dead skin cells, your shampoo can moisturize your hair more thoroughly. Yes. Eating lot of sugar may lead to hair loss. Sugar promotes Inflammation. When people eat sugar or carbs, the sugar floods the blood, causing a spike of insulin and androgen, which bind to hair follicles and cause the hair to fall out.

No. Sugar is a sweet food or substance added to food to make it sweet and delicious. It does not lead to loss of hair. No studies have proven it still.

I agree. I haven't read an article yet proving sugar causing hair loss.

There does not seems to be an issue directly. But eating sugar increases weight, leads to piles and the diabetes issues. And also this leads to other health issues as well. So it all depends on what you consume and what you decide to do with the body.

I doubt it if it will cause hair loss. In most cases, it runs in the family. Most men usually have alopecia. It means they can really have hair loss as they grow older. It varies from one person to another based on the genes. Overconsumption of sugar can lead to acquiring diabetes mellitus. That's a bad thing since it can never eradicate this disease once you are acquired it.

Taking a lot of sugar leads to increase in weight through the conversion of its excess to fats. Overweight is a risk factor to many non communicable diseases such as diabetes, stroke and heart attack.

There doesn't is by all accounts an issue straightforwardly. However, eating sugar increments weight, prompts heaps and the diabetes issues. And furthermore this prompts other medical problems too. So everything relies upon what you consume and how you choose to manage the body.

Still, inflammation that is continuously driven by high sugar diet can play a role in hair loss and hair thinning by permanently damaging hair follicle ,as the hair follicle is damaged, the hair shaft become thinner more prone to damage and eventually the follicle is unable to produce hair

There is no definitive answer to this question as the research on the matter is inconclusive. However, contrary to what some people may believe, there is no evidence that eating a lot of sugar daily causes permanent hair loss. Additionally, there are several other factors that can increase the risk for hair loss including eating a lot of sugar when you are pregnant or when you are taking basset hound or heid dog medications.

No, there is no scientific evidence to suggest that eating a lot of sugar daily leads to permanent hair loss. However, a balanced diet is important for overall health, including hair health.

High sugar diets can cause or exacerbate various health conditions and contribute to thinning hair and hair loss. In addition to inhibiting proper nutrition, research shows that sugar also promotes inflammation, damaging hair follicles.

Excessive amounts of sugar in one's bloodstream may also cause inflammation of the scalp. This inflammation makes the scalp colder than usual and leads to shedding follicles. There are plenty of reasons why sugar is incompatible with healthy hair.

Yes, eating a lots of sugar daily can permanently cause hair loss.

Even in human health, too much sugar is not good on body.

It can cause diabetes, even obesity in children and in adults.
