Fructosuria is caused due to the deficiency of the enzyme hepatic fructokinase. It is characterized by the incomplete metabolism of fructose in the liver which leads to the excretion in urine.

Symptoms of the same includes :

Prolonged vomiting, failure to thrive, jaundice, growth retardation, enlargement of the liver, frequently cirrhosis (liver does not function properly).

Hope this helps.

Fructosoria is a rare autosomal recessive disorder of metabolism. After eating foods containing fructose the patient shows signs of low blood sugar, breathing difficulties, abdominal pain, and vomiting. As long as patients with hereditary fructose intolerance do not ingest fructose, they can lead normal lives.

Essential Fructosuria is characterized by the presence of fructose in the urine after ingesting fructose. It arises as a result of a deficiency of the hepatic enzyme fructokinase and is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder. The disorder is mild and it probably remains undiagnosed in many, many people.

Fructosemia, also known as fructosuria, is a genetic disorder characterized by the inability to properly metabolize fructose. When people with fructosuria consume fructose or foods containing fructose, their bodies are unable to break it down properly.

Symptoms of fructosuria can include:

Nausea and vomiting

Abdominal pain

Diarrhea

Fatigue

Headaches

Dehydration

Elevated blood levels of fructose and uric acid

Fructosuria is a rare genetic disorder characterized by the presence of fructose in the urine. It is caused by a deficiency in the enzyme fructose-1-phosphate aldolase. Symptoms of fructosuria are usually mild and may include increased urine output and sweet-tasting urine. Some people may experience stomach cramps or diarrhea when they consume large amounts of fructose. Symptoms in people with fructosuria usually appear after consuming high fructose containing foods, such as fruits, honey, corn syrup and sucrose. The symptoms can be relieved by avoiding foods that contain high levels of fructose. It is important to note that fructosuria is a benign condition and it does not lead to any serious health problems. However, it is important to confirm the diagnosis and follow the advice of a doctor or a dietitian to avoid any nutritional deficiencies or other problems.

Fructosuria is a metabolic disorder that affects the way the body processes fructose, a type of sugar. The condition is typically benign and does not cause any significant health problems. However, people with fructosuria may experience some symptoms, including:

Sweet-smelling urine: Fructose is excreted in the urine, and this can cause a sweet, fruity odor.

Abdominal pain: Some people with fructosuria may experience abdominal pain or discomfort after eating foods that contain fructose.

Bloating and gas: Fructosuria can cause bloating and gas due to the incomplete absorption of fructose in the small intestine.

Diarrhea: In some cases, fructosuria can lead to diarrhea after eating foods that contain fructose.

It's important to note that these symptoms are not specific to fructosuria and can be caused by other conditions as well. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it's best to talk to a healthcare provider for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
