We are living in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Most of us were instructed by our biological parents not to meet or talk with strangers. However, the advancement of technology is making us more independent in speaking out. In fact, it is easy to make new friends virtually.

Do you think it is a good idea to make friends virtually?

Is it also a good idea to meet them up close?

For these so called virtual friendships to flourish into something more 'concrete' and 'authentic' it still needs to be personal and that only happens when you meet somebody in person. You get know him/her by meeting the person face to face and growing in this friendship facing real life experiences together.

Virtual friendship is still different and would always be limited. It cannot replace 'real' personal friendships. Yes, you can have friends even in social media only. This days social media is one way of meeting other people, you have can be friends. But be careful in choosing your friends, not all you meet in social media is true people.

Yes it's okay because it depends on who you consider a friend to be and what you are looking for in a person. So basically yes it's okay  to be friends with someone if you don't meet.

Yes you can be Friends but you should know who is behind the screen and make sure that they are good people , you have to be careful because not all people are good. You should put limits until you build a trust or pullback .for me I prefer face to face friends.

Maybe, I have seen many people who have been friends without seeing each other as a person. My brother got it without seeing her as a person it was love on the Facebook site. I don't know how it ] works, because barely get familiar with a person just after the first or second meeting. I need time to open up.

Yes, I think it is possible to be friends with someone you have never met in person. As long as there are some restrictions that you need to do for your security and protection. Especially these days a lot are doing scams. Just be careful and not give your full trust to anyone online. Maybe a friend of friends or the friends of your family will do as your friends or family know those people than making friends with total strangers.

I do think it is possible but we need to be more vigilant with this matter. If ever you are going to have an eye ball with a person for the first time, it is best to choose an open-air meet-up.

Yes, but virtual friendship is limited and can't get you benefits like the real in person friendship gives. You can have virtual friendship but it has restrictions that the real friendship doesn't have.

Yes, it is possible to be friends with someone if you never meet them in person. With the advancements in technology, it is now easier than ever to communicate with people online and develop friendships through virtual means. Many people have formed strong bonds and friendships with others through online platforms such as social media, gaming, and virtual communities. These friendships may not be the same as in-person friendships, as there is a lack of physical interaction and face-to-face communication, but they can still be meaningful and fulfilling.

Yes, it is possible to be friends with someone without ever meeting them in person. With the rise of the internet and social media, it has become easier to form and maintain friendships with people who are geographically distant. Many people have online friends that they have never met in person, but they still consider them to be close friends. That being said, it is generally easier to maintain and strengthen a friendship when you are able to interact with the person in person on a regular basis, rather than just online.

It is possible to form friendships with people you have never met in person. With the advent of social media and other online platforms, people are connecting and communicating with each other across vast distances. These friendships can be based on common interests, shared experiences, or simply a mutual enjoyment of each other's company.

Whether it's a good idea or not to make friends virtually depends on individual preferences and circumstances. Some people may find it difficult to form genuine connections online, while others thrive in online communities. It's important to be cautious and use good judgement when interacting with strangers online, as there are always risks involved.

Meeting someone in person after forming a virtual friendship can be a positive experience, as it can help to solidify the bond and deepen the connection. However, it's important to ensure safety when meeting someone in person for the first time, such as meeting in a public place and letting someone know where you'll be.

It is definitely possible to form friendships with people we meet virtually through social media, online forums, and other digital platforms. Many people have developed deep and meaningful connections with others they've never met in person.

However, it is important to note that virtual friendships can be different from traditional, in-person friendships. Without face-to-face interactions, it may be more difficult to truly get to know a person and build a strong bond. Additionally, there may be potential safety concerns when meeting someone in person whom you only know virtually.

Whether or not to meet a virtual friend in person is a personal decision that should be carefully considered. It's important to take precautions and ensure that the meeting takes place in a safe and public location.

Friends can be friends and not see each other for  quite a long time because this is a developing world and us people in developing countries go to developed countries for various job opportunities so we talk with our friends and family at home and it always is real and reassuring.
