Wow that's what's I have never heard before,I never knew food makes our nails grow anyways thanks for asking.

Yes. Plenty of nutrients in food can help nails to grow. Foods that can improve your nails are fruits, lean meats, Salmon, beans, eggs, nuts and whole grains. 

Eating bananas to improve splitting nails. Almonds used to strengthen the nails. Milk is also good for nails.
