I guess gossips is natural behaviour of human. People always wants to know what happening around them. People wanted to know the things of others and made a story from it. That's called gossip.

Gossiping is not a good one. But everyone does it. Bigg boss show is one example for it. We want to know others story.

Yes indeed. Gossipers are the ones who don't usually do chores and talk about somebody else. They thought it's good but it's not

Highly true and justifyable I made some research of my own and found this to be quite reliable.

I think people liketo gossip because it makes them fell powerful, like they have inside info, makes them the go to person, to destroy someone reputation, talk just to hear themselves speak, to have something to contribute to a conversation and make themselves seem superior

If anyone is looking for an answer to this question I mean why not just look at it from this perspective it is quite wise.

People do this because they are insecure about others. It is a common cause of why they tend to talk about others without any limitations. In my own perspective, it is not good to be acquainted with them. Time will be wasted. Besides the point, they are grounds to having a defamation case.

Yes definitely, they're not trustworthy and don't befriend with these kind of people. You won't learn something from them

In my previous companies, I made it clear that I am into gossip. If someone creates any untrue gossip about me, they will regret doing it.

People may gossip a lot because: Because of boredom, when people are bored, they will talk about other people, men will often talk about relationships, successes, or issues of another, but usually will talk about what that person does the most, while woman will get more personal about their talk about others.

Yes that's one thing and one reason why, when boredom strikes, you will look for a topic that you may tell to the one you're gossiping with

Gossiping is something which doesn't demand much energy and hard core efforts, its just say whatever you want to and laugh. So, most of the people gossip about other whom either they are jealous of or whom they like to bring down. Thus, to feel light, to have fun and to laugh at others, people gossips.

People do it for different reasons. Some people gossip because they're nosey. Some people because they have no life. Some people are miserable and enjoy laughing at someone else's pain because it makes them feel better.

I can say some people do gossip with ill intentions especially when being jealous with someone's successes. I do not like it and it brings about hatred between people. I prefer staying away from them.

It is fun for other people to chitchat with other people with their same vibe. They like gossiping because they feel that when they talked about this person, they feel ahead of them but it's not.

People who enjoy gossiping do not just dwell in small towns, nor are they the archetypal housewives gossiping in the backyard. In today's environment, gossip is different. It's now ingrained in everyone's everyday routine. But why do so many people talk about each other? What makes it so well-liked?

Uncertainty & Language

Some argue that gossip began with the development of human language. They also claim that gossip aided in the development of today's big contemporary civilisations. People's tales about others were instructive in that they revealed social rank, and positions in the group and establish social standards. These stories even had a function, such as assisting people in finding a suitable marriage.

On a deeper level, the drive to reduce ambiguity underpins the basic psychological need to gossip. When people believe that they do not have enough knowledge, they are unhappy.  As a result, they attempt to re-establish cognitive equilibrium.

The gossip is made by people, who didn't have anything to do. They have enough time to look after into others' life and make gossip. The people didn't have enough time to take care of their own things. I think how these people get time for such nonsense things . They are people with rude mind and lazy people with no work.

Everyone gossips. Some people think men don't gossip but trust me they do. Gossiping isnt bad until you use it to start causing conflict then you will see how gossiping can make your life a living hell. Gossip can ruin friendship, destroy a relation and even get you fired from work.

Gossip is a complex social behavior that is likely influenced by multiple factors. While it may be a natural inclination for some individuals to engage in gossip, others may do so for various reasons such as a desire for social bonding, a need for validation, or a sense of power and control.

Some people may also use gossip as a way to manage their own emotions or alleviate boredom. However, it's important to note that gossip can have negative consequences such as damaging relationships, hurting others, and even damaging one's own reputation. It's important to practice mindfulness and consider the potential effects of gossip before engaging in it.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question, it is simply a way for people to get information out of others and to of themselves. Some people like to gossip because it is such a fun thing to do, they can share their thoughts and feelings with others, and they can get information they never would have access to otherwise.
