China is the home of the largest movie and drama production complex, film studios in the world. China has also become a major hub of business for Hollywood Studios. China's market for movies is expanding at an insane rate. So Hollywood has an obvious financial incentive to appeal to a chinese audience.

Thank you for replying. It's called CCP (Communist China Party) monopoly and globalization over the creative film industry. It is disastrous that majority of the liberal media allows it in the Chinese puppetry.

USA should get back its sovereignty.

China is on track to overtake the U.S. as the largest consumer of movies in the world. They love Hollywood, but do they love the same Hollywood we do? As most know, China is communist, and while they are somewhat economically open, there is still significant control over the content Chinese people are exposed to. It goes something like this, in order for the U.S. film to crack the Chinese market, certain themes cannot be portrayed, certain products must be taken out, and certain speech must be limited. Seems easy right? Not so much.

China runs hollywood in many ways. They always show the china as good nation and other countries as bad. In reality china was the real evil as we know from the corona virus spread. And also recent "black lives matter" protest chinesse sponsored people entered into protests and purposefully created rucukus against people around.

That goes to show you how much china is controlling the world. It is really sad to see that china being the worlds biggest vilian and they even managed to manipulate USA. That is indeed sad part of the world.

China doesn't run the Hollywood. Most people think that China is on it's way to overtake the U.S. as the largest movie consumer and they can even own and run the Hollywood but it's not. Just see this an example, do you think you can kill the mouse by chasing it on its own cave? Of course not, you will set a mouse trap to kill that mouse and that is what the U.S. always does. In fact, the U.S. runs the Hollywood and China and so the world.

When it comes to Hollyweird, I suspect China has a lot of competition from Israel, as to who has the most clout. Google 'The Founding Fathers Of Hollywood' or 'Honoring Hollywood's Jewish Founders'.

No, China does not run Hollywood. While China has become an important market for Hollywood films, the movie industry is still primarily run by American studios, producers, and executives. Hollywood movies must also comply with China's censorship laws to be shown in Chinese theaters.

Does China run Hollywood?

No, China does not run Hollywood. While it is true that China has become an increasingly important market for Hollywood films, with the potential to generate significant revenue, the Hollywood film industry is still largely controlled by American companies and individuals.

China has indeed invested in some Hollywood studios and co-produced some movies, but they do not have direct control over the content produced by Hollywood. The Chinese government does have strict regulations about what types of movies are allowed to be shown in China, and this has led some Hollywood studios to make changes to their movies in order to be approved for Chinese distribution. However, these changes are usually made voluntarily by the studios themselves, and not imposed by the Chinese government.

It is also worth noting that Hollywood has a long history of catering to different markets around the world, not just China. Hollywood movies have always been adapted to suit the cultural and political sensitivities of different regions, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. While China is an important market for Hollywood, it is just one of many, and Hollywood studios continue to produce movies for a global audience

No, China does not run Hollywood. However, Chinese companies have invested in Hollywood studios and have become significant players in the industry. These companies have invested in Hollywood for various reasons, such as gaining access to the global entertainment market and expanding their business interests beyond China. However, Hollywood remains an American industry with American ownership and control over content.

There is no definitive answer to this question, as the answer would likely depend on the specifics of China's film industry and how it functions as a whole. However, some people believe that China does run Hollywood, as the Chinese government has made it a main focus in their film industry.
