Yes. As per recent study, emotional crying will help you to lose weight because it is linked to hormones that heighten the cortisol level, which is induced when you have bottled up emotions.

Based on some studies, some experts claimed that crying can make a person lose weight. They claimed that it stops the release of hormones that are responsible for generating fats to a human's body. No wonder why some people who are broken-hearted appeared too skinny after grieving. Did you notice it?

According to researchers in California, shedding some tears will release toxins from our body and reduce stress. That reduction in stress helps your body burn fat. According to DR. Aaron Neufeld, emotional crying promotes weight loss by stopping the production of hormones that make your body store fat.

I probably say no. I'm an emotional person but still I'm fat. Maybe a better question I guess is "Can depression make you skinny?" Or maybe "Can your worries make you skinny?" I'd say no, crying can't make you skinny because I cried a lot but hard for me to lose weight.

No, crying does not make you skinny. While crying may result in a very little water weight loss due to dehydration, it is not an effective or healthy weight loss strategy.

There is no scientific evidence to support the claim that crying makes people thin. Crying may help people feel happy and loved, but it is not a sure way to improve one's thinness.

There is no evidence that crying makes someone thin. Crying is often a natural way to express emotions, and it can be beneficial for the emotionally charged environment in which it occurred.
