We are living in a chaotic situation now. Since we are in this pandemic, how can we budget our money and not overspend? It is not being frugal, but to be practical. Life is a tough one financially now.

Are there any suggestions on how can we deal with this concern?

Be stringent about budgeting for groceries by making a meal plan and sticking to it. This will prevent food waste, and in turn, wasted money. You'll also want to cut down on paper costs, like napkins or paper towels. These items can be replaced with washable cloth versions. Finally, keeping your AC on a slightly higher temperature when you leave the house can save some money on electricity.

I can sense that you are good at plotting your savings plan budget. I am with you on these ideas. I felt bad that some people are squandering their money more than their monthly budget. Since we are in a pandemic situation, they are having a hard time dealing with their expenses.

Yes I do have an electric vehicle. I save up because I don't purchase gas and I only charge my bike if I'm going to use it.

Very well answered I think you should really educate people on how to spend Thier money.

All we can do to be budget wise in these days since the pandemic started. We should be conscious or aware of our surroundings. As I notice from the culture of other countries they are used to throwing things right away even if it is still in good condition. People should practice saving things even if it is still good. Avoid buying unnecessary things as you keep on buying or changing clothes from time to time. There are still kinds of stuff that can still be used and just donate to a thrift store even if it is usable for quite some time or you can still sell it to earn money. I know donating is a good deed but as I see from the country where I am staying now they practice that kind of culture in a split second they change their mind right away if they want to change something or throw it right away even the excess food is included. The thrift stores where you donate everything are the ones earning from these things. If we avoid this kind of habit of throwing away things right away even excess food is a great saving. In my native country where I was born people don't practice these things. People know how to budget and save their money. Even the single seed of rice is not wasted or thrown right away unless it is only spoiled or rotten. People in our country know how to recycle things and do it for business. The country, I'm staying in now is exactly the opposite. I know living here is not easy everything is also expensive.

If I wanted to do this, I tend to write more here and there. In doing so, I would control my overspending to things unuseful and can earn extra pennies instead.

You can avoid it if you plan on how will you spend your salary, divide it into many ways like this

* For savings and for investment

* For buying your needs and to pay monthly bills

* A little bit of your wants if you have an extra

This must be a usual plan for you to save up and avoid overspending.

We can manage our ways of spending by preparing a list of what we want or need, and try to avoid buying unecessary things and look out for the important ones.

There are a few ways to try to avoid overspending. First, always be aware of your ability to pay back what you have spent. If you are spending money on things that you know you can not pay back, be sure to always have money left over to pay your bills. Plus, be sure to keep track of your expenses and try to stay with counts of things that you want to buy. When you can't afford to pay your bills, get a reminder to do so! Also, be sure to keep track of what you are not able to pay back. Finally, if you find that you are overspending on what you expected to spend, you can should always begin to feel the effects of the pandemic. For example, if you are overspending on personal care services, it may be a good idea to stop buying these things.
